Easy no sew homemade bunting flags
To me bunting flags just add a fun pop to make an area more festive. They are so easy to make with a minimal amount of supplies, time and effort. You can whip together these flags to make any celebration a bit more fun.

Supplies needed:
Fabric (about 1 yard)
Scissors
Rope
Glue gun
** make sure you have good scissors and a good glue gun. That makes a big difference!
I like to start out by taking my rope and measuring the area that I would like to string the bunting flag across. By doing this first you won’t make flags that are too long or too short. Make sure you add at least a foot on each side to allow for tying up your flags.
Then I simply lay the rope on the ground and begin cutting my triangles. Cutting your triangles honestly does not need to be super precise. Once your flags are waving in the air, you won’t notice if one is a little bit larger or smaller than another one back in the day, I used to make a template and make sure that they’re all, exactly the same. You absolutely can still do that if you want to spend a little bit more time but for me sometimes I go with the motto of just make it real quick because at the end of the day no one is going to notice those little details.
Here is what this process will look like:

1. Take fabric and cut into triangles

2. Make a pattern out of the triangle and line them under the rope. Once you cut all your triangles and lay them out in the order that you are going to want them, then fire up your glue gun to assemble it all together. When you lay your triangle down, make sure the rope on the top and then simply fold the fabric over the rope and glue to secure.

3. Put a line of glue from the top of the triangle

4. Fold the fabric over the rope to secure, then repeat until all the triangles are glued

5. Iron the entire bunting flag to get out all the wrinkles

Once you have them all glued up, I like to iron my flags to get out any wrinkles in the fabric, which makes the flags look so much better.

Then TA DA! You've made your flags!
You’re now ready to hang your flags and elevate your space from drab to fab. I absolutely love making these simple quick and easy bunting flies as you just need a little bit of fabric whatever color theme goes with your party or holiday celebration. These fabric flags look so much better than anything plastic you would buy in the store. I might’ve been there and I certainly do know this.
