Next step in the morning round up… Wipe down all surfaces

Updated: Nov 6, 2023

I'm certainly a fan of Mrs. Meyers and their delightful smells that I change up periodically. Not only do they do a great job cleaning and making the counters shine, but it leaves the room smelling fresh.

Every morning after you do the rush to whip up some breakfast, put the dishes in the dishwasher and wipe down the counters!

But hey, don't just stop at the counters, I spray....

the cabinets

the microwave

the refrigerator

the table

the light future

the coffee table

And all the other flat surfaces a quick squirt and wipe. This takes less than 5 minutes and leaves the house dust free and ready to greet you with a sparkling sigh of relief when you come home later.

My fav is as I said... Mrs. Meyers. I buy the one squirt bottle but then the additional concentrate. When you run out of spray simply put some concentrate in the bottle and the rest is just water. Yes, most cleaners are actually just water. Therefore you get the good stuff for actually less than what you would play for the knock-off brand that doesn't smell as good.

Here's what I'm talking about. Simple in two steps...

just take off the squirt bottle top, fill the concentrate to about this line ( the bottle says 1/4 cup to 1 gallon of water) and then fill the rest with water.

That's it!!

Easy peasy!

I love this fresh lemon verbena but with fall here I'm ready to switch it up to the apple cider scent.

Where to buy? I'll link the cheapest I've found... Amazon.

But sometimes the squirt bottles are on sale and you only need to buy those once for the different scents. Now the bottom of you kitchen sink won't be filled with a bunch of wasted bottle. Stick to one brand and something that you can use on all the surfaces. Trust me, I've bought all the things and I know what's good, I've been there, this mama knows this.

Xo,

Mama
